Fare the well

(Yunus 10:56)"

I read the headlines of a pilot that got killed in an aircrash a couple of days ago, but didn't get around to reading the story. I skipped the headlines.

It never hit me that the pilot that got hit in the crash was my friends dad, who's also my dad's old friend (they were golfing buddies). It never hit me til, I saw the photos in a social network, and the status that my friend put up.
I was in shocked, and still am. I knew the latter, when I was in Australia. Our family and his family are friends, but we have not seen each other for more than 10 years.

Anywho's after finding out, that my friend lost her beloved father, I searched through the articles and read the story. I was in shock. I couldn't believe it.
I read the story and watched the video of the incident repeatedly, and cried.
I cannot imagine living without my dad. I cannot imagine coming and knowing that my dad will never return. I just can't.

So, to Kak Yani, hope you and your family stay strong through this tough times. He's in a better place, thought and prayers goes out to arwah Uncle Zakariah (Col. Zakaria Salleh).

“Papa ajak kami sekeluarga makan bersama-sama di The Curve, Damansara.
