Littering.

Somebody littered sampah McD infront of the kindy today. It caught the attention of my 2year old student. She got furious, and didn't want to go back home with her mom, til someone picked up the rubbish and threw it at the bin. Her mum had to pick up the litter and threw it away, and the 2year old was happy and went home.

My point of this post is that, people, please do not litter. Kalau tak ada tong sampah, keep the sampah with you till you find a bin. Even a 2year old knows where to throw sampah properly. Please try to keep the country a litter free zone.

Thank you.

Vacation in Pictures-Songklah and Hat Yai.

I spent my CNY holidays in Thailand. It was an awesome 4 days break for me. I spent time with my family and a friend who came to stay with us.
I'm not going to write much about it. Instead I'm going to put it in pictures. Hope yous like it.

Here we go....

Bismillah....

After cold and horrendous 12 hour ride in the bus, we finally arrived in Hat Yai. The city was decorated with CNY stuff. They were already to welcome the new CNY.
Hat Yai City all ready to welcome CNY.

The dragon in the middle of the city
 1. First Trip: Tang Kuan Hill.
This is located write infront of the Malaysian Consulate. It's a tourist hotspot. And the place is full of monkeys. The venue is basically a temple that's opened to tourists. Beautiful place to visit.

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

Don't mind me

The dragons that guard the red house.

The red house that's similiar to the one in Malacca
 2. Second Trip: Some jetty with a dragon head and statue of a hero.
The dragon that guards the city.

I believe he's a hero in Songkhla. Couldn't read the history because it was in Thai.
 3. Third trip-Songklah Aquarium
The entrance fee here is 200 Baht for adults and 150 Baht for children. It's good place to visit if you love fish that is. The place is not that big, but I dare say it's bigger than Aquaria, and is definitely cheaper. And there's less crowd in there. If you have kids, bring them here because I guarantee you they'll love it here. :)
Can YOU spot the fish?

"I live in an anemone." -Finding Nemo.

I didn't understand why that had to dress the poor turtle up? Kesian dia...
 4.Fourth Trip-Sunset by the beach
Since the beach is the backyard at my mum's place, I decided to hang out there just to kill time. I love spending sunset by the beach, and just daydream when I'm alone. But since I had company that time, I bought a kite, and decided to give it a go since I've never really played it.
But what do you know? It was fun. It was seriously fun.
Bring the in child out in me.

Couldn't resist playing layang layang during sunset by the beach.

Our layang layang turned out to be cacat. It gave up on us after a round of playing.

"Hidup di dunia umpama layang-layang di langit takdir. Kita terbang tinggi, rendah, dekat , jauh hanya di lembayu IradatNya. Kita akan terus terbang selagi ada angin dibekalkan, selagi kertas tidak koyak, selagi rangka masih kukuh. Tapi apabila tali telah putus, turunlah dengan Redha, kita tidak berhak untuk terus terbang sekiranya maut jemput pulang." -My new fave quote.
 5. Fifth Trip-Shopping at Hat Yai
We all went to teman my friend to Hat Yai to buy her souvenirs. After spending hours there, I finally came across this cute adorable bag.

I bought a new bag from Hat Yai. I couldn't resist it. I just love elephants.
 6. Sixth Trip- Dinner at Maroc
8 Kids (yes I'm a kid too) plus my parents went to have dinner at one of Hat Yai rare western food restaurant. The service was okay. The food was blagh. Drink was also blagh. I didn't complain, because I was still bersyukur because I still have food to refuel my body. Alhamdullilah.
The menu at Maroc.

Misspelled word:They put crap instead of crab.

10 Hungry Malaysians.

My drink. Apple in Soda water. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

chicken steak. It was bland, and the proportion was too small for me.
 7. Seventh Trip-Lantern Festival
After dinner, we went to Hat Yai's lantern festival. I was very disappointed at this year's festival. It was empty compared to last year. I didn't take much photo, because there was nothing to snap.
♥ Elephant ♥

♥

I still dream of being a princess. Hahaha...

Jiran baru kami. ♥
Trip to Thailand was okay. But it could've been better if the roads weren't block. FYI the Thai princess was in town for visit. Thus she blocked all the main roads, and resulted us to staying home.

Me Niego A Votar

General election is coming up. I'm way passed the legal voting age, and frankly, I've not registered myself to vote. A few months ago, I was very ecstatic to register myself to vote. But now, I've changed my mind.

WHY?

Well, politicians here in Malaysia, play a very very dirty game. Maybe if the Great Tun Dr. Mahatir was still the leader of this land of Truly Asia, I'd register to vote. But since he's retired I've decided I don't want to vote.

I hate the way politicians in this country play their games. What I've come to realised that the nearer the date of  general election is the dirtier the game is played.

In this country, the politics are made into many different parties. It is ruled or dominated by a particular party that I used to like now disliked, due to the current leader.

For some reason our country's current leader doesn't have a good charisma. Well that's my opinion. He talks big, and mostly I find are just a bunch of bullshit to suck up to the rakyats. I don't like the way he talks, I don't like the way he walks, I just don't like him in general. Every word that's uttered from his mouth are just crap. To me he's spending way to much of money of useless little things. And thanks to him, our country is in deficit or is in debt. *Clap!* *Clap!* *Clap!*

That is just one man on one party. There's another man in another party. He like to talk about giving human rights and stopping media crap. He wants our country to have human rights, such as having gay parties, and gay marriages, and giving rights to people that are homosexuals.  I just want to tell him to stop playing with fire. I mean, come on, people here are not really open minded. Bak kata my boss, orang orang kat sini, are like katak di bawah tempurung. Which is true. They go ballistic when other religion, that's not Islam, uses the word ALLAH. ALLAH in arabic means GOD. The non-muslims in arabia uses ALLAH to call their GOD. I have non muslims arabic friends, that's how I know.
So him recommending rights for the homosexuals are just a big no no. It's going to trigger chaos. Big chaos. But I guess he is taking a big risk. And due to a whole bunch of people are against him. And plus, he was put to jail for several years by the great Tun, and was free by an ex leader. And now after years of going up and down the court, the judge have finally let him free. He's a free bird. And it means more political war in Malaysia.

And than there's another party. The Islamic party. You see this is what I don't get. Here in the land of Truly Asia, the majority of the citizens are Islam. And the Islamic majority party is broken up into 2 different parties. One party is a lead by the leader of Malaysia, and the other party is lead by an extremist Islamic man.

Because of political reasons, people tend to go against each other, even though they've come from the same religion, i.e. Islam. Islam does not teach hatred amongst brothers and sisters. Islam is all about unity. When it comes to politics, Islam doesn't become one. Which is quite embarrassing, and pitying I say.

Back to my point of this post. Election is coming up. Politicians are embarrassing each other in the news, and   making small things into big issues. They're putting each other down, and hoping that they get the rakyats votes if they do good to the country. It's just like a game of cats and dogs really. Very childish. They all should go back to kindergartens and learn how to behave.

Since I'm not registering as a voter, I'm just going to go with the flow, and except whoever wins. Because I don't really care. I just don't believe in all that is exposed in the media. They're all bullshit.

Tigey Wigey

I came across this picture whilst browsing through a popular social network. I wont say which social network, who this person in this picture is. I don't want to get in trouble.

I was pretty shock to see this picture, and was sadden to know who this person in this pic was. It is something I'm definitely not proud of.

I hope that this person does not hunt the poor endangered and soon to be extinct animal in the present day.

Zikir Terapi Diri

Zikir Terapi Diri-Hafiz Hamidun.

To be very honest this is my first Nasyid Album, and the first product that I bought online. Thanks to muslimniaga.com and Thanks to Mr. Hafiz Hamidun (or should I call him Ustaz) for recommending me the site. Syukran Jazillan ... ^^

I heard the preview of the whole album, way before it was released. He posted the teaser of the album, on one of the popular social network. I heard it a few times, and was quite keen on purchasing it.Seriously he's got a pretty good singing voice... MasyaAllah. But that wasn't a good enough reason for me to purchase it.
Honestly, I don't normally listen to Nasyid, unless it's Raihan or Sami Yusuf. Listening to his Nasyid songs was something new for me.

Before purchasing the album, I went around the net looking for reviews and critics by fans. The review that I read on the land of bluebird was all positive review. I listened to the teaser one more time. And made up my mind to purchase it. Something in me told me to purchase it and that it was worth every penny spent.
So I twitted to the artiste himself to where to purchase it...he said Islamic shops. Knowing my schedule, which is work work work, I know I wouldn't have time to go out to  purchase the album. Being a kindergarten teacher is no easy task. I'm forced to work around the clock to meet deadlines on time. So going to the shops was not an option.

I twitted him one more time, and asked if I could purchase online. He recommended stormreaders.net. I went to to the site, the site was under maintenance. It was a bit of disappointing.

So, I twitted him one last time, and asked for another site...he recommended muslimniaga.com
Bak kata pepatah...Kalau nak seribu daya.

I wanted this album badly. I went online, and made my orders. A week later, the long waited album arrived. I popped it in my laptop, and listened to it.

I found myself almost snoozing at the end of the album.

Don't get me wrong. The album was not boring. It's superb. The zikir zikir that was recited musically was soothing to my soul and brain. It was very therapeutic.
Betul la...dia tajukkan album tu Zikir Terapi Diri, and I must say that listening to it is like having therapy for my soul. I was happy, Alhamdullilah.
I'm going to do a little experiment, and have my young kindergarten students listen to the songs in this album next week, and see their reactions when I put the album on. InsyaAllah...

Over all, I like all the zikirs in this album. But my personal one is "La Hawla Wa La". The track has been my lullaby every night since I got this album, and it also has been my "therapy" track whenever I'm stress and loaded with work.
This track is my favourite, because I like the music arrangement here (I'm not musical intelligent, but I for some reason I love the sound of piano/keyboard). It's slow, yet beautiful. It's haunting in a good way. I can listen to it all day, and will never get sick of it, InsysaAllah.

Do I have any regrets purchasing this album? Nope. I'm glad I bought it. It's money worth spent.
